If your child should need to be referred to a specialist or specialty services, we have a member of our team whose job it is to handle all of the insurance authorization and forwarding of medical records. Our medical team will follow up to make sure you were able to get the appointment needed and help you with any other needs you may have regarding the referral. Our goal is to make the process as smooth as possible for you.

For all referrals: when one of our doctors refers you to a specialist, our referral clerk will send the referral to the specialist and your insurance company. Once it is approved, we will notify you that you can schedule an appointment. Most referrals are completed electronically and submitted directly to the specialist's office. 



Should you wish to choose a specialist yourself, we will give you our list of recommended specialists if you don't have someone already in mind. Once you choose the specialist, call your insurance to make sure they are in-network. If in -network or you are willing to pay out of network costs, please call our referral clerk and ask that we send a referral to that specific provider.
